This project is centered around three poets who shared a common theme: Poetic Perspectives on Planetary Shifts. The objective was to develop a visual design system that unifies differing components of a system, yet instills excitement through its representation of meaning. The project focused on the manipulation and arrangement of typography and images to convey a message throughout the poster series. The three posters were developed to persuade an audience to attend a series of events, and each poster displays the meaning of an individual person's work.
Research
To begin this project, I researched the previously mentioned poets to better understand their writing and who they are as people. The poets all share an advocacy for human life and our environment. They use their own experiences on Earth to create powerful messages that spread awareness on these complex issues.

Exploration
During the exploration process, I focused on one author, Orchid Tierney, and fleshed out as many ideas as I could. Once I chose the composition that worked the best, I created pieces for the other two authors that matched their aesthetic while communicating each message.
